Massimo Campanale (born 31st August 2003) is an accomplished English junior golfer. He has seen considerable success across a number of sporting disciplines – but it is in golf that his greatest sporting passion lies.
Having attended Westminster Cathedral Choir School (WCCS) in London until July 2017, Massimo was commended for his sporting ability and natural athleticism – being the first ever WCCS boy to be captain of the 1st XI cricket team when he was in Y6 and the captain of the Y8 school rugby team.
Massimo is now in the second year of boarding at Tonbridge School and has quickly made his mark in Rugby Fives, Cricket and Golf. He was runner up in the Singles and winner of the Doubles of the Rugby Fives National Schools Championship in April 2018. This was all the more remarkable, given that he had only taken up the Fives sport in September 2017.
With his progression outside of school from club to county cricket, Massimo is also a prominent member of the Tonbridge U15 cricket squad that won the National Cup final in July 2018. Outside of school, Massimo has been playing senior cricket for his local club, Hampton Hill, since he was 11 years old and was also selected to play in the Middlesex County U15s cricket squad in July 2017.
However, it is his rapid development in the game of golf that has captured the attention of a number of people involved in the world of golf. This now receives most of Massimo’s focus and energy, as he looks forward to a successful future in the game. Whilst still relatively new to the game and having only taken up golf just in April 2017, Massimo has already experienced rapid progress in his golfing skills.

Following in the footsteps of European and USPGA tour star Paul Casey, Massimo added the Foxhills Country Club 2018 Junior Championship to his early but growing list of golfing triumphs.
On his recent first trip to Asia’s number 1 golf course and European Tour Property Venue, Black Mountain in Hua Hin, he quickly adapted to the tour layout of the course, shooting in the 70s before capping his visit off with a win in the Black Mountain Greensomes 2018 tournament with golfing partner and team mate Henry.
Massimo is looking forward to the forthcoming golfing year and his continued rapid development in the game.
